Besiktas Shipyard was founded in 2007 in Yalova, Turkey, as an investment by the Besiktas Group. Spanning a 200,000 m² total area with 50,000 m² of enclosed workshop space, the shipyard annually accommodates an average of 150 vessels and can service 15 ships simultaneously, making it one of Europe’s most active repair yards. Featuring three graving and floating docks—the largest measuring 382 meters—it caters to a diverse range of vessels, including chemical tankers, LPG carriers, passenger ships, Aframax/Suezmax tankers, Q Max-sized LNG tankers, container ships up to 15,000 TEU, reefers, dredgers, and heavy lift carriers.
Beyond repair, Besiktas Shipyard excels as a specialized shipbuilder, having completed 50 newbuild projects such as LPG/Ethylene tankers, offshore support vessels, and Norwegian-type fishing boats.
